Course Descriptions

Breastfeeding basics for parents-to-be - $60

From an anthropologically-based approach to building the breastfeeding relationship, our Breastfeeding Basics course can be taken at home and at your own pace. And, just like the course, we coach you to fit breastfeeding into the flow of your life. You will learn about the first 24 hours, how to establish a good latch (the baby-led latch and more), positioning, how to tell if and if not your baby is feeding well, breast pumping, and ways to overcome common challenges and roadblocks. This is one of the most foundational of the breastfeeding education classes.

Infant Feeding for the Caregiver - $40

This class is a tutorial for partners, nannies, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and babysitters. Your instructor, Amanda Ogden RN, BSM, covers topics such as covered, paced bottle feeding, tricks and tips for the reluctant bottle feeders, ad breastmilk storage and preparation.
