Jessica Bouck (Teaches: Baby & Me, Toddler & Me, Prenatal, Baby Wearing, Cloth Diapering) DENVER
Jessica discovered the many physical and emotional benefits of yoga as a teenager, and has continued using the practice as a path to personal growth, health and happiness as an adult. She received her yoga teacher-training at Samadhi Center for Yoga and Meditation, the program was well over 200 hours, and covered an immense variety of topics including yoga history and philosophy, as well as human anatomy and physiology. Jessica has also attended the Spiral Mamas Prenatal Yoga training and the Mama'hood Post Partum and Baby & Me training. Jessica is passionate about sharing yoga with others because of its power to heal chronic pain, re-align the body and help in the recovery from injuries, as well as its ability to create more self awareness. Jessica’s classes utilize flowing movement to create flexibility and strength. Her goal is to help you forge a closer connection with your own body, mind and spirit.

Since I was a child, music and movement have always been essential to me, a dancer. I have been practicing yoga for over 20 years. In January of 2014, I completed my certification with Ahimsa Calming Kids Yoga and have been sharing this practice with children since then. My greatest joy lies in teaching movement and yoga to children. My intention is to strive to find and reinforce the love of learning intrinsic in each student. Since 1999, I have enjoyed teaching, consulting and tutoring as a licensed teacher. My experience includes students with and without Special Needs ages 2-23.

Faith is a compassionate and playful yoga teacher who has enjoyed practicing yoga for over 17 years. Teaching Prenatal, Baby & Me, and Family yoga is a natural extension of her passion for working with every stage of motherhood as a Certified Prenatal, Labor, and Postpartum Massage Therapist and as a Certified Postpartum Doula. With almost 1000 hours of experience teaching yoga to women through the transitions of motherhood, her classes blend principles of alignment, breath and body awareness, and flowing movement leaving students simultaneously relaxed and rejuvenated. Alyson de Recat, RYT (Teaches: Prenatal Yoga) BOULDER
Alyson's mission is to bring women into connection with their bodies, their womb space and their own divine wisdom. She believes that through this process of seeking and healing connection with self, we are able to authentically show up in sacred community with one another. Alyson completed her 200 hour Vinyasa and Women's Yoga Training with Kirsten Warner of Devi Yoga for Women and completed her 85 hour Prenatal Yoga Training with Katie Wise and Kirsten Warner of Yo Mama Yoga school. Alyson's background is in Social Media and Graphic Design. She is also a trained Birth Doula, passionately empowering families to make informed choices throughout their pregnancy and birth. Originally a beach girl from California, she has made Boulder her home with her partner and their growing flock of ducks. She can't wait to practice with you!
Ashley Goss (Subs: Family, Kids, Toddler & Me) BOULDER
Ashley discovered yoga in 2000 when she took her first astanga-style class, which proved to be both mystifying & challenging, and left her curious to learn more. As a nomad who has lived in 8 different states over the years, she has had the good fortune to gain exposure to many different styles of hatha yoga & has had the privilege of learning from many exceptional teachers along the way. As a fitness professional, Ashley loves to move & believes in the healing power of yoga’s physical postures as well as the tangible emotional and mental release that can result from a regular practice. She loves that yoga meets you where you are, wherever that may be. As the parent of 2 busy young children, she appreciates both the calming & the playful aspects of the practice in her own life & loves using yoga to gain a different perspective on things when life gets challenging. She has trained with Anusara teacher Michelle Synnestvedt in Philadelphia, PA, and most recently in the vinyasa flow style with Jacqui Bonwell of the Boston-area Sacred Seeds School of Yoga. in 2012, Ashley received her Children’s/Family Yoga certification through ChildLight Yoga of Dover, NH. For the past 7 years Sara has had the opportunity to serve women, babies, toddlers, and families by introducing them to the practice of yoga. Her interest in working with women and families peaked after the birth of her own daughter in 2009. Through two pregnancies of her own, Sara has experienced first-hand the healing and transformation that is present in a consistent prenatal and postnatal yoga practice. Sara infuses her classes with a spiritual message while integrating principles of alignment, and creates a safe space to move, meditate, and breathe.
Sara has completed her master’s degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology, a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training under Chris Muchow, a 20 hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training under Laura Wade Jaster, a 20 hour Kids Yoga Teacher Training under Christen Bakken, Yoga Calm’s 12 hour Integrated Approach to Wellness I, and has completed a Trauma Informed Yoga for Youth Training through Street Yoga. Aubry sees pregnancy and early motherhood as a sacred and magical journey. Aubry has been practicing yoga since 2009 but truly became passionate about teaching prenatal yoga after she saw the way it supported her during her own pregnancy. She sees prenatal yoga as a powerful tool that can be used to strengthen your body, meet like-minded moms and bring calm to mind, body and spirit in preparation for birth and motherhood. Her classes
are relaxing, down-to-earth and an equal balance of building community and attention to alignment.
Megan Hebbe (Teaches: Baby & Me) BOULDER
Megan grew up in the suburbs of DC playing all kinds of sports: diving, tennis, lacrosse, and running. She “played” yoga too, enjoying the occasional vinyasa or Bikram class, but it wasn’t until becoming acquainted with kundalini yoga that she found the style that speaks to her heart. She completed her 200 hour teacher training later that year. Within the following months, she completed her personal training certification with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and a nutrition coaching certification with Precision Nutrition, competed in her first bodybuilding competition, and found out she was pregnant (it was a busy year)! Megan’s experience as a postpartum athlete who aspires to return to being a competitive runner and bodybuilder has ignited her passion for helping postpartum moms heal both physically and energetically. Molly Holmes, YRT 200 (Teaches Prenatal Level 2, Prenatal All Levels) BOULDER
Molly was born and raised in Colorado. Nourished by the Arkansas River valley, comforted by the flow of the water in rivers and streams, and strengthened by the mountains. Molly prefers to spend most of her days outside, playing on moving water, hiking with her dog, or sliding on snow in the winter. Molly discovered yoga at 13. With the help and inspiration of her mother she quickly became a yoga addict and hasn’t stopped since. She got her YTT 200 in Costa Rica surrounded by the beauty and abundance of the rain forest. Then completed her Pre and Post Natal certifications here in Boulder. Molly’s style of teaching is slow and grounded, while at the same time flowy and playful. Deeply rooted in the breath each practice is an exploration of self, a graceful brush with your emotional and physical limits.
Shauna Hylenski (Teaches: Kids. Subs: Family) BOULDER
Shauna has been teaching and studying yoga all over the world for over 10 years. Her background is rich with both an anatomical and healing approach to yoga with a specific emphasis on meditation and breath practice. She is an experienced teacher with over 500 hours of training in Anusara, Vinyasa, Acro/Partner and Kids yoga. Her classes have been called, “inspirational, deeply healing and transformative” by her numerous dedicated supporters. You will finish a class with Shauna with a happy, sweaty smile on your face, fully inspired and ready to take your yoga off the mat and into your everyday life.
Robyn Jennings, RYT (Subs: Prenatal, Family, Kids) BOULDER
Robyn is a newcomer to the world of yoga. She began practicing in 2013 as a way to help balance her progressional life & her Master's studies in Environmental Education. After practicing yoga for a year, Robyn enrolled in Yoga Loft's 200 hour teacher training program. What began as a New Year's challenge to try something new continues to be a passionate hobby filled with continual room to grow. In September, Robyn completed a 25 hour KidsYoga training with Yoga for Young Warriors in Denver. Her years as a preschool teacher and outdoor educator make her extremely happy to play and move mindfully with children of all ages. In her family yoga classes, Robyn strives to create a community of playful learners by integrating songs, yoga poses and mindful breathing.
Logan Kinney (Teaches: Prenatal Yoga) DENVER
Logan Kinney recently finished her Level 2 Teacher Training at CorePower Yoga, in Denver CO, upon moving across the country at the end of this summer. However, all of her other trainings are New York City based. She completed 200 Hr Yoga Teacher training at Yoga to the People in NYC, in 2011. She shares their philosophy that there are no proper clothes or glorified teachers… just yoga, accessible to all bodies! She also trained to teach heated classes at Rockaway Beach Hot Yoga, NY. She received her Yoga Alliance Approved 85 hr Prenatal Yoga Certification through YogaWorks NYC, with Carrie Parker Gastelu. In addition, Logan received her Kids Yoga certification from Om Schooled in NYC. Logan earned a Master’s Degree in Childhood Education, concentrating in Special Education through The New York City Teaching Fellows, and loves to utilize this experience in the children’s classes she teaches.
She is passionate about teaching yoga, to all bodies, all ages, and in all stages of life. She especially enjoys teaching prenatal yoga, working with moms-to-be,to allow their yoga practices support health and radiance in pregnancy. She is a mom to a beautiful toddler boy, and lives in Denver CO, with her husband, son, dog, and cat.

Kristin has spent over 20 years on the path of yoga, and began teaching yoga and meditation in 2002. Initially drawn to the practice as a way to holistically address the effects of scoliosis and find a sense of inner peace to counter the nagging voice of daily anxiety, her yoga mat soon became a haven where she could explore her habitual patterns and navigate the highs and lows of her internal landscape. Over the years, she has studied with a variety of teachers from the Anusara, Iyengar, and Kundalini Yoga traditions, fascinated by yoga’s ability to deeply penetrate the physical, mental, and emotional bodies. Her classes are lighthearted yet contemplative blend of alignment-focused asana, breath work, and meditation.
Kristin has been working with mamas since the day she started teaching yoga. A prenatal yoga teacher, birth doula, and childbirth educator, she considers herself a birthkeeper: a guardian and protector of the sacred passage of childbirth. The births of her two amazing daughters, and the powerfully vulnerable and courageous births she has witnessed, have led her to view pregnancy and childbirth as natural and creative processes that have the potential to empower, enlighten, and transform. She truly loves working with and supporting women as they walk the path of mama’hood.
Janine Mason, Certified Yoga Teacher, Certified Birth Doula (Teaches: Prenatal Yoga) BOULDER
Since graduating from Samadhi Center of Yoga in 2009, Janine began teaching yoga in Canada, then continued teaching in Wisconsin and has taught many styles of yoga from postnatal with babies to yoga for runners. In her classes she guides students through a slow flow vinyasa where the work is united with the breath. In 2013 she completed her Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training at Yo Mama. She has a deep respect and adoration for mamas and babies - on the inside and out - and enjoys nothing more than leading these women and their babies through a class filled with love, asana and relaxation. Hey beautiful people! My name is Margeaux and I'm so excited to be a part of the Mama'hood community. Prenatal wellness is what makes my heart sing, every aspect of it. What a blessing that we are able to have this space devoted to such, right here in Boulder! I'm passionate about helping mama's fully experience their pregnancy in any way that they need to and in ways that are healthiest for mama and baby. I act on that passion through teaching pre and post-natal yoga, lactation counseling, working as a birth doula, and prenatal nutrition counseling. I just love taking care of people... and animals... and trees.
My other dreams come to life while hiking, spending time with my wonderful husband, practicing yoga, looking for hummingbirds, and eating nourishing foods.

Like many others, Jeni began practicing yoga in search of a good workout. What she found when she came to her mat - the chance to connect physically and mentally to the here and now - was so, so much more. Through life's ups and downs, Jeni has found yoga to be her single greatest source of perspective. During her pregnancy, the strength and support she drew from the women in her prenatal yoga classes proved to be invaluable. This led Jeni to undertake teacher training with Corepower Yoga and prenatal yoga and Mommy + Me training with Katie Wise, both in 2015. As a teacher, Jeni hopes to cultivate that same sense of community and belonging for the women in her class, as well as provide a space to connect with their breath and bodies in the present moment.
Rebecca Peterson, MA, CYT (Birthing From Within Mentor/Teaches: Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga) DENVER & BOULDER
Rebecca has always been very passionate about women, pregnancy, birth and parenting. Her yoga instructor journey began in 2008 when she completed a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training with Shannon Paige. After the birth of her son, she went on to complete a 20hr Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training in 2011 and a Postnatal and Baby & Me Training in 2012. She has also taught Birthing From Within childbirth preparation classes since 2012. As a lifelong student, Rebecca continues to move toward finding the most supportive ways to work with families as they navigate the journey toward parenthood. She enjoys working with parents from pregnancy throughout the childbearing year. As a mother of a beautiful baby girl with Trisomy 21, she also specializes in working with those families welcoming babies with special needs. Marina Prein (Teaches: Prenatal) BOULDER
My Yoga practice began 2008 in Austria when I was seeking rehabilitation from a running injury and some balance within my active life. Pretty soon I found out that there is much more about Yoga than just exercises and I fell in love with its healing physical and mental power. After I completed a 200 hour Vinyasa Flow training and a Yin Yoga training, I still had the feeling that there was something missing. As a Physical and Craniosacral therapist I felt grateful for the opportunity to accompany women during their pregnancy. Once I started my Prenatal Yoga teacher training at the Mamahood, I knew what I had missed. Becoming a mother can be a wonderful, challenging journey. Being able to support women on their way with mindful, kind, and well balanced Yoga classes is a huge blessing for me. My Yoga classes seek a balance of grounding, centering, internal practice with uplifting, playful, flowing sequencing.
Kia Ruiz (Teaches: Baby & Me, Toddler, Prenatal, Special Events) DENVER & BOULDER
Kia has been a certified yoga teacher since 2009. In May 2009 she completed her Level I 200 hour training from the Eldorado Mountain Yoga Ashram of the Shambhava School of Yoga. In September 2009 she acquired a fertility/prenatal/postnatal yoga certificate from De West of Yoga Workshop. In 2012 she went on to earn the new 85-hour Yoga Alliance recognized prenatal yoga certification from Yo Mama Yoga. She is academically trained as a biologist and came to the path of a yoga teacher following a car accident in 2006 and the lengthy physical rehabilitation that ensued. Her main teaching philosophy is to help students find their truths on the mat to take away from their yoga practices into other parts of their lives. With her clients centered on their motherhood journeys she hopes to help that truth nurture motherly intuition with all the tough decisions women have to make away from the mat. Kia also enjoys teaching all levels yoga for corporate clients, at conferences, and seva classes for good causes. She is a mother to two young boys born in 2010 and 2013. Raquel Sciana CYT (Teaches: Women's, Prenatal) BOULDER
Raquel Scianna is a yoga teacher, writer, wellness coach, and mid-morning chocolate eater. In her spare time, she studies traditional Latino herbal medicine, with a focus on women's healing. A perpetual student and teacher, she loves facilitating community through the grace of spiritual embodiment practices, and encourages her students to use the tools they learn on the mat to nurture the relationships with themselves and the world around them! Keri Shee CYT (Subs: Prenatal, Kids, Family) BOULDER
Keri Shee is passionate about teaching inspired yoga classes to support women through the transition of pregnancy and motherhood. Discovering prenatal yoga during her first pregnancy was a gift in so many ways, and Keri values creating a supportive experience and nourishing community for other mamas as they navigate their unique journeys. At the start of her career, Keri worked as an occupational therapist then taught middle school language arts and reading before having her two sons. Keri often brings aspects of creative writing into her yoga classes, as well as Bhakti style call-and-response chanting. She focuses on opening creative channels through transition as an avenue to connect inward, bond with baby, and find our most authentic voice.
Katya Slivinskaya CYT, CHHC (Teaches: Postnatal Subs: Prenatal, Baby & Me) BOULDER
Katya Slivinskaya has a passion for helping women to rediscover their center and sense of self after pregnancy and delivery. As a yoga instructor, devoted yoga practitioner, and mom of a six-year-old, she has found that the path of motherhood and the path of yoga inform each other in raw and breathtaking ways, and that at the center of both is the journey of discovering who you really are. Katya was trained at YogaWorks in NYC and is in the process of becoming certified in the Iyengar method, holds a BA in contemplative psychology from Naropa University and works with private clients as a certified health coach.
Erin Spors RYT, HBCE (Teaches: Prenatal Subs: Baby & Me) BOULDER
As a yoga teacher, childbirth educator, and mother of two, Erin brings a wealth of feminine experience and practical knowledge to her students. Her classes offer opportunities for healthy alignment, positive body awareness, nurturing movement, and a safe space for women to be fully present. She weaves together compassion and discovery as she strives to help students tap into their own strength and resiliency. Erin grew up immersed in the wonders and challenges of pregnancy and birth, raised by a dedicated labor and delivery nurse. She has been an avid yoga student for over a decade, finding tremendous personal growth and a nurturing community along the way. In her personal life, she continues to be amazed by the mischief her children get into, and the love that is birthed by motherhood.
Shaun White, RYT (Teaches: Baby & Me, Mover & Me) DENVER & BOULDER
Shaun originally used yoga as a means to balance his physical exercise regimen, but when he was offered a teacher training scholarship through Comeback Yoga & Kindness he began studying the Sutras and learning what it really meant to fully practice yoga. Shaun found his connection to the universe, his path to happiness, and how to exist, through his practice of yoga. Currently, Shaun is teaching two classes at the VA to fellow veterans. His goal through teaching yoga is to positively affect his students, whether it is through his words or his movements. Shaun and his wonderful wife Aubrie were married in 2013, and they welcomed their first child this May. Baby Harrison will be joining Shaun at the mama’hood Denver for Baby & Me Yoga on Thursdays at 11am!
