Our second 85-hr Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training happening February 2018.
Sara was first introduced to yoga while working in a corporate setting. The weekly yoga classes provided a space to breathe, release, and re-center. Her practice evolved from corporate yoga to vinyasa to alignment oriented practices to prenatal and now family friendly yoga classes. Sara infuses her classes with a spiritual message while creating a safe space to move, meditate, and breathe. She has completed her master’s degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology, a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training under Chris Muchow, a 20 hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training under Laura Wade Jaster, and a 20 hour Kids Yoga Teacher Training under Christen Bakken and Casey Feicht. Sara is a mother, wife, friend, and forever student. She invites you to step onto your mat, open your heart, and tap into the grace that lies within.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: TODDLER IMMERSION
Will I be qualified to teach toddler yoga following the training?
Yes! Following the training you will have the tools and knowledge needed to start teaching toddler yoga immediately.
Will I be able to teach kids and family yoga following the training?
No. This training is specifically designed to educate trainees how to teach playful, meaningful yoga classes to toddlers (confident walking-age 3). Additional training is needed in order to teach kids and family yoga.
If I have already completed a children's yoga teacher training do I also need to complete this training to teach toddler yoga?
It depends. Most kids yoga teacher training's spend very little time discussing developmental needs of toddlers and how to sequence classes to serve this population. Many kids yoga teachers have tried taking the seat of a toddler yoga teacher and left the class feeling unprepared and needing more training. This training was designed specifically to address the gap in training from postnatal yoga teacher training's and kids yoga teacher training's.
Do I need to be a yoga teacher to complete this training.
No! This training is geared towards postnatal/baby and me and kids yoga teachers in addition to parents, caregivers, and educators who aspire to bring the practice of yoga to young children.
